IS A DEPOSIT REQUIRED?
Yes, Fountain Fantasy requires a non refundable deposit of $200.00 and a signed contract at the time of booking. Balance is due 14 days prior to the event.

WHAT ABOUT LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS?
Fountain Fantasy will always try to accommodate last minute bookings and can provide an impressive display of dipping items with little notice.

WHAT DOES THE FOUNTAIN ATTENDANT DO?
Your chocolate fountain attendant wants YOU to relax and enjoy your event. So let us make sure your event runs smoothly while you enjoy the fountain and all the compliments. Your professional, trained attendant will set up the chocolate fountain, custom display and all the dipping items. He or She will keep food displays full while maintaining a neat, clean table. Your attendant will completely clean up and break down all of our equipment at the contracted end time.

IS IT STANDARD TO TIP OUR FOUNTAIN ATTENDANT?
Throughout the food service industry tips are based on customer satisfaction and if you are satisfied with the service your attendant provided, then you may choose either a percentage of the bill or a flat tip. Tips are never expected but always appreciated.

WHAT KIND OF CHOCOLATE DO YOU USE?
Fountain Fantasy uses only premium gourmet couveture chocolate from Belgium. Couveture has 33% to 44% more cocoa butter than regular chocolate. Couveture (french for covering) is used to coat truffles and the best chocolate choice available to cover your dippable items. Couveture chocolates smooth, distinct taste is truly decadent! 

WHAT IF I WANT TO USE THE CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN LONGER ?
You can keep the fountain flowing as long as you want. Price is based on the number of guests. Additional time must be paid in full on site, at your event, to the fountain attendant.

WHAT ARE ELECTRICAL AND TABLE REQUIERMENTS?
Chocolate fountains made in the US operate on a standard three prong, grounded, 120 volt outlet. A sturdy level table that can hold one 100-150 pound fountain plus food items must be provided. Electrical outlet has to be within 10’ from table. Table should be 8’ long. Two coordinating table linens must be provided. A garbage receptacle is needed next to the table for discarding plates.

CAN THE FOUNTAIN BE USED OUTSIDE?
In order for the chocolate to flow smoothly over the tiers it must maintain a certain temperature. Cold or cool weather can affect how the fountain performs. A good rule of thumb, if the temperature is low enough for the guests to wear jackets, it’s not a good idea to use the fountain outside. Another deterrent, insects….which dramatically decrease guest satisfaction. Wind. Even the slightest breeze can send chocolate flying covering more than just strawberries. An enclosed tent could work and Fountain Fantasy will be happy to work with you if your goal is to be outside.
